This hand carved solid silver Signet ring features a 'Pieces of Eight' pirate coin. These Spanish coins were called Dubloons and were the primary currency for Buccanners and Pirates of old. This was inspired by my time sailing in the Carribbean islands esspecially around the British Virgin Islands where Pirates such as Blackbeard once used as their hideouts. Treasure is sometimes still found in the granite caves dotted around the coast there although I never found anything!
